I should have taken you for a drive when we were at the Tail of the Dragon, but it doesn’t seem like you need any convincing. I definitely like the DSG, even if I am looking at cars with manuals all the time. Sport mode on that transmission is fun, and the paddles are responsive.

I wish green was an option when I bought mine. Good luck with your deal!

Can’t say I’m too surprised, I remember reading a comment of yours on the fist a few days ago that made it seem like you don’t like it as much lately. I almost went gti befor the st, however I felt like I needed the extra power. I really like the new green though.

The DSG is great, perfect balance between being able to handle creeping traffic and backroads.

Plus, you get DSG farts!

It seems as though the focus and gti are about the same anywhere I read, and limitedtimeonly was able to keep right on me during the Oppo meet (he’s also got the driver mod Over me tbh), but it seems like the GTI would be a bit of a better daily. It’s been 8 months so it’s about time for a new one (lol). I’m curious to see what happens with the next gen, I’ll probably take that time and pay off the ST and see if I like it enough to jump ship.
